Terms of service

Court Texts ("the service") converts screenshots you upload into a transcript document. By using it you agree to these terms.

What the service does and does not do

The service transcribes and organises images you supply. It does not verify that the messages are genuine, complete or unaltered, does not extract data from any device, and does not give legal advice. Output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing every line against the source screenshots before relying on it.

What this service is not

Court Texts is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; using it creates no attorney-client relationship. It makes no promise that any document will be admitted or given weight by any court. It is not a HIPAA-covered service and we do not sign Business Associate Agreements: do not upload protected health information or any material you are legally prohibited from sharing with a third-party processor. It is not a forensic tool and does not verify the origin or integrity of messages.

Your content

You confirm you have the right to upload the images. You keep ownership of them. We process them only to produce your transcript and delete them as described in the privacy policy.

Delivery

Your PDF is shown immediately after payment and is available for re-download for 24 hours through the private link on that page. After 24 hours it is deleted; if you still have the browser you used, the tool can rebuild it from the copy stored in that browser. Save your PDF promptly.

Payment

The export is a one-time payment processed by Stripe. Because the free preview shows the transcript quality before you pay, refunds are given only where the PDF could not be produced.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid for the export in question.
